In this series, we will workshop the voice, the voice-heart connection, the ear, and the inner thread of awakened sound-consciousness. Through exercises in sound and harmony we will train the ear to hear and create music through the voice that is personal, authentic, and open.

Rene (Radharani) is the creator and director of the Gaiatree Sound Project, a community choir for vocal exploration through the sacred power of music, and the use of song and chant as a spiritual practice. Renee has also collaborated with Amy McTear of "One True Voice" for choral direction and for performance of their co-created spiritual rock-opera "Temple of the Heart". She sang in the professional a cappella group Prana for 3 years during which she recorded and performed with Krishna Das. She sings on Prana's latest album "Sadhana", a combination of complex vocal harmonies and Tibetan-inspired overtones. She also performs kirtan, and appears on the kirtan albums of Prema Hara, Sri Kirtan, and others. Renee also regularly takes groups around India, where she lived for nearly 4 years, through her travel company Shakti Path Tours. She is also a figurative and portrait painter.
