What is Kundalini Yoga?
Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is a 5,000-year-old authentic system of yoga exercise and meditation that promotes health, happiness, and spiritual awareness. It is a complete science that combines postures (asanas), movement, sound current (mantra), breath (pranayam) and meditation into powerful sets called kriyas. Kundalini yoga is also known as the Yoga of Awareness; its focus is on self-awareness and delivering an experience of your highest consciousness.
What is a Kundalini yoga class like?
Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan® is probably the most formalized style of yoga currently taught throughout the world. In any class, anywhere in the world, you can expect it to include six major components: 1) tuning-in with the Adi Mantra, 2) pranayam or warm-up, 3) kriya, 4) relaxation, 5) meditation and 6) close with the blessing song, “May the Long Time Sun Shine Upon You”.

Laura (Dharam Dhyan Kaur), is a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher, as taught by Yogi Bhajan. She completed her Level 1 Teacher Training in India with Golden Bridge Yoga and has traveled around the world completing both Level 2 and Level 3 courses. Kundalini Yoga was the answer to many of Laura's prayers for purpose, healing, and meaning in her life. These prayers were further answered when she met Maestro Manuel Rufino, for whom she is infinitely grateful to.
