Fall Equinox Celebration and Hurricane Relief Fundraiser featuring Maestro Manuel Rufino with Swami Umesh Yogi Ji, Rosalia Mowgli and More!

  • Golden Drum 97 Green Street, G1 Brooklyn, NY, 11222 United States (map)

In response to the recent devastation created by the sudden hurricanes around the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean, the Golden Drum community, Sacred Arts Research Foundation, and the NYC Chapter of the Universal Initiatic College are grateful to announce that our Fall Equinox Celebration will be a fundraiser to help all hurricane victims.

At this time, mother nature is speaking loudly to us and is giving us (Humanity) the opportunity to awaken to a greater purpose, to come together as communities, and to create ways to help alleviate the suffering and devastation that has been caused.

We will honor this special time of the Fall Equinox with a celebration to connect us with the energies that are coming through the cosmic forces as well as an opportunity for us to recognize ourselves as part of a world community who needs our collective support through this action of goodwill.

We will begin the evening with a nourishing vegan meal by the Jungle Cafe. We will then be blessed with a beautiful evening program including:

  • A very special talk on "The Negative Mind and How To Deal With It, Why Shamans and Yogis Love Stress, & The Benefit of Happiness and How To Get It," with Maestro Manuel Rufino, Taino elder of the Caribbean and visionary and founder of the Golden Drum community & the Sacred Arts Research Foundation
  • A talk with Swami Umesh Yogi from Rishikesh, India on Peace and Pollution
  • A concert with master classical guitarist, vocalist and composer Rosalia Mowgli from Madrid, Spain
  • A community Artisan Shamanic Market where 20% of profits will benefit the relief fund

We will close together in a circle of blessing for all who have been touched by the hurricanes.

We know that when we come together and cooperate with our resources to help causes greater than ourselves, we are able to move mountains.  Please come with an open heart and a donation (the event itself is free, donations for hurricane relief are optional).  Our proceeds from the event will go to organizations that are helping to alleviate the suffering hurricane victims in the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean.

This event will be live-streamed, so please join us even if you are not able to attend.
