FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29 at 6:00 PM until SUNDAY, OCTOBER 1 at 4:00 PM
Join us for a weekend of sacred song immersion, sweat lodge, delicious food and morning yoga. We will come together to awaken our voices and dive deeply into the heart of sacred song. There will be a songwriting workshop, vocal exercise, mantra practice and further instruction on how to utilize song and sacred sound to heal, uplift and connect with the sacred elements for prayer and celebration. Saturday evening we will have a song sharing circle around the fire that includes all the teachers and participants. We will gather for a sweat lodge on Sunday morning where we will have the opportunity to activate what we have been learning through the experience of this sacred ceremony.
About the Sweat Lodge:
The teachers of the Sacred Song School comprise of members of the Sacred Arts Research Foundation and the Golden Drum. They have been cultivating their connection to sacred sound, chanting, mantra, folkloric and healing songs from around the world. Under the guidance and inspiration of Maestro Manuel Rufino, Taino Elder & world director of M.A.I.S.C, we have come together to create an educational platform for sacred songs to be shared with the community.
What is included:
Our retreat will provide delicious vegetarian meals using organic foods sourced from our very own farm! It is our intention that whatever you eat is supporting and empowering your process of transformation. Please let us know if you have any specific allergies or dietary restrictions, we will do our very best to nourish and nurture your body, mind and spirit. Price includes all classes, yoga, sweat lodge.

2 hours North of NYC, in the Catskill Mountains. Exact location will be given upon registration.
Many people native to the Americas call the sweat lodge the womb of our Mother Earth. In this sacred ceremony we will have the opportunity to purify ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. With our intentions and prayers we will move beyond ourselves and merge with the elemental & cosmic forces. A sweat lodge is a ceremony where participants enter into a small, insulated hut that is then heated with hot stones brought from a sacred fire. Together, the group moves through 4 rounds of prayer, songs, and teachings, utilizing the four elements as a means to purify and focus our prayers.

Tent. Bedding. Warm Clothing.
ALL profits made from this retreat will be donated to help create the Golden Drum retreat center in upstate NY. All of our staff will be donating their efforts in support of this vision.
