Full Moon Meditation (Cancer Season Full Moon in Capricorn)

  • Golden Drum 97 Green St. G1 Brooklyn, NY, 11222 Unites States of America (map)

The Full Moon in Capricorn during Cancer season creates a powerful contrast between heart and duty, nurturing and ambition. As Cancer draws us inward toward emotional safety, home, and family, Capricorn rises with a firm reminder of our long-term goals, responsibilities, and the legacy we're building.

This Full Moon asks us: How do we balance care with control? Emotion with structure? Under the light of the Capricorn Full Moon, we’re encouraged to get serious about what truly matters, especially in our professional lives, commitments, and sense of personal discipline. It’s a moment to step back, assess the foundation we’ve built, and make decisions rooted in both emotional truth and practical wisdom.

You may feel called to release burdens, outdated obligations, or rigid expectations that no longer align with your deeper emotional needs. At the same time, it’s a chance to solidify plans that honor both your inner world (Cancer) and your public path (Capricorn).

This full moon is a reminder that true strength lies in emotional resilience—and that nurturing ourselves doesn't mean abandoning our ambitions. It means integrating them.

Join us during this time of transformation and release to embrace where you need to grow wit by diving deeper into the astrology of this time, taking an intentional moment of reflection with a sound bath and reiki session led by Cassie Luzenski and Adrian DiMatteo, and integrating with a nice warm drink.

Bring a pen, paper, something to add to the altar and whatever else you may feel called to charge up under this full moon energy.

$25.00

Cassie Luzenski is a multi-disciplinary artist, creating experiences through her training as a designer (B.A, in Creative Direction, Design), Shamanic Reiki practitioner and sound meditation facilitator. With a deep passion for holistic well-being and designing intentional spaces, Cassie has spent the past two years immersing herself in a variety of spiritual, cultural, and traditional practices with many elders and wisdom-keepers around the world, under the guidance of her teacher, Maestro Manuel Rufino, and the Initiatic Tradition. She is currently in a 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training program, and her studies at the Sonic Institute have further enhanced her understanding in the technology of sound and healing. She is working to merge the world of art, music and healing in her own way to be of service, and bring more light and beauty wherever she goes.

Adrian DiMatteo (B.M. Eastman School of Music, 2012) is the founder of the Sonic Institute. He is an international performing and recording artist, author (Elements of Sound: A Full-Spectrum Exploration of Sound and Consciousness), music educator, app creator (Chord Atlas), and sound meditation facilitator with over 20 years’ experience in the music world. Adrian has toured and traveled extensively—exploring sound, language, musical culture and how they affect individual and collective wellbeing. Hundreds of students have graduated from Sound Healer Training programs and weekend retreats that Adrian regularly facilitates nationwide. To date, he has offered musical experiences to thousands of people in hospitals, hospices, elder care facilities, prisons and children’s centers.

The Sonic Institute offers experiential workshops, music lessons, healing sessions, events and training designed to help people connect with sound and music as a tool for meditation and healing. Our programs unite ancient spirituality with modern science to reveal the impact of sound vibration on health and consciousness. Through online & in-person lessons, sound baths, presentations and interactive workshops, participants gain skills and knowledge needed to facilitate guided meditation and sound healing experiences.
