Songs of Devotion: Community Kirtan with Guest Radharani

  • Golden Drum 97 Green St. G1 Brooklyn, NY, 11222 Unites States of America (map)

Join us Thursday evening, June 26th, for community kirtan led by Matt Canale, Hillary Canale and special guest Radharani. Come 30 minutes early for a shared meal of kitchari and chai to warm our bellies before joining together in song and mantra!

Kirtan is a devotional singing practice from India and is practiced around the world. It involves chanting or singing mantras, sacred phrases, or bhajans in a call-and-response style.  It is a beautiful way to learn how to open our hearts and connect to something much greater than ourselves.

Long-time Golden Drum members Matt and Hillary Canale will facilitate kirtan monthly in the space. Matt has been studying kirtan for the past decade in Hare Krishna temples in the city and upstate New York.

This month we are happy to welcome our special guest Radharani

Suggested donation $20 (no one will be turned away for lack of funds).
